Games for People.
BEEP now available for Gnu/Linux!
Linux geeks rejoice! We’ve finally made it through the beta testing and BEEP is ready for Gnu/Linux gamers who are itching to get there hands on a modern, physics-based, platformer game!
The game is currently available on the brand-new (and very slick) digital distribution site, Gameolith.com. For all you Ubuntu-freaks, the final build of BEEP has been sent to Canonical and should be in the Ubuntu Software Center very soon.
I have to thank everyone who signed up for the beta testing. It’s been a treat to work with Linux users from across the globe. We received very generous feedback (and even some detailed technical fixes!). Proving once again, that Linux users are pure class.
I am a big supporter of Gnu/Linux and really want to see it become a thriving marketplace for both free software and commercial applications. I hope BEEP finds an audience here and helps to kick-start a wave of indie games on this burgeoning platform.
Sincerely,
Kiaran Ritchie
